It’s easier with a driving licence, Rome.
Many people escaping from civil war, abuse and torture arrive in Italy in search of a better life. However, they face great difficulties, particularly in their attempts to make an honest living.
Prime Italy, who has been assisting refugees and asylum-seekers since 2010, recognized the importance of such individuals having a driving licence, which does much to facilitate access to paid employment.
Consequently, they arrange preparatory courses for the national driving examination in collaboration with the Italian Automobile Club and other partners. In 2013, Nove Onlus contributed by covering the costs of both the course and the exam for 10 human rights victims and asylum seekers.
