It’s easier with a driving license.
Rome, Italy. Project concluded in 2013.
Many people escaping from civil war, abuse and torture arrive in Italy in search of a better life. However, they face great difficulties, particularly in their attempts to make an honest living.
Prime Italy, which has been assisting refugees and asylum-seekers since 2010, recognized the importance of such individuals having a driving license, which does a great deal to facilitate access to paid employment. Consequently, they arranged preparatory courses for the national driving examination in collaboration with the Italian Automobile Club and other partners. In 2013, Nove Onlus contributed by covering the costs of both the course and the examination for 10 Human-Rights victims and asylum seekers.
